1. Scope

1.1 This specification covers aluminum alloy 5005-H19 (extra hard) round wire for electrical purposes.

1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.

Note 1-The alloy and temper designations conform to ANSI H35.1. Aluminum alloy 5005 corresponds to Unified Numbering System alloy A95005 in accordance with Practice E527.
