Withdrawn Rationale:

This specification covered aluminum and aluminum alloys in the form of processed scrap for use in the manufacture of steel. This specification was withdrawn because there in no known use for it.

Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee A01 on Steel, Stainless Steel, and Related Alloys, this specification was withdrawn in September 2005.


1. Scope

1.1 This specification covers aluminum and aluminum alloys in the form of processed scrap designated as shown in Table 1, for use in the manufacture of steel.

1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The metric equivalents of inch-pound units may be approximate.
