E50 Environmental Assessment, Risk Management and Corrective Action
Event Name: April 2014 Committee Week
Pre-registration requested to attend this meeting.

ABOUT THE EVENT

A Workshop on Estimating LNAPL Transmissivity will be held Thursday, April 10, 2014. Sponsored by ASTM Committee E50.04 on Corrective Action, the workshop will be held at the Sheraton, Toronto, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in conjunction with the April standards development meetings of the committee.

Objective
The objective of this workshop is to provide a basic understanding of how LNAPL Transmissivity can be estimated and how to use estimated values in understanding practical limits for hydraulic recovery of petroleum. This information may then be used in making effective decisions with regards to LNAPL assessment, management, and remediation.

Who should attend?
The target audience for this workshop is environmental consultants, environmental project managers, regulatory project managers, and technical staff. Attendees should have a basic understanding of hydrogeologic processes and non-aqueous phase liquid (NAPL) fundamentals. It is recommended that all attendees become familiar with the E2856 Standard in order to maximize the use of their time at the workshop.
