    About the Event

A Workshop on Advancements in VOC Diffusive Air Sampling for Indoor Air and Workplace Environments will be held Monday, April 7, 2014 from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Sponsored by ASTM Committee D22 on Air Quality, the workshop will be held at the Sheraton Toronto in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in conjunction with the April standards development meetings of the committee.

    Objective
The overall purpose of the workshop is to present the current state of technology in VOC diffusive air sampling techniques. There have been recent developments that make diffusive sampling techniques an attractive option for some indoor air, work place environment, industrial hygiene, fence-line monitoring, and green building certification applications. NIOSH, OSHA, EPA and universities currently are doing research in this area. The goal is to identify and scope two or more ASTM standards in 22.04 and 22.05 to cover this type of sampling. Additionally, we will emphasize why agencies should participate and reference these standards in order to address the technology exchange Executive Order.

    Technical Program

A technical program (presentation times, paper titles, and presenters' names) will be posted on the ASTM website by late February.
