ASTM Committee on Copper Celebrates Diamond Anniversary

ASTM Committee B05 on Copper and Copper Alloys will commemorate its 75th anniversary with a celebratory dinner in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, Oct. 5, during the ASTM Committee Week meeting. A cocktail reception at 6:45 p.m. precedes dinner at 7:30.

Committee B05 was formed in 1929 and has a current membership of over 150 active members. The committee has jurisdiction over 140 standards that have helped standardize products and test methods in countless process, product, market and service areas.
