To assist in the selection, training, and qualification of nondestructive assay (NDA) personnel, members of ASTM Subcommittee C26.10 on Nondestructive Assay, within Committee C26 on Nuclear Fuel Cycle, are developing a standard guide for personnel involved with NDA measurements. Subcommittee members approved the project at their June meeting, citing the lack of a standard assessment of credentials for NDA measurements personnel although some regulations require appropriate qualifications.
