New Subcommittee Will Standardize On-Line Analysis of Gaseous
Fuels
Subcommittee D03.12 for On-Line, At-Line and Continuous Analysis
of Gaseous Fuels is seeking additional participants with field
experience, as well as the submission of relevant specifications,
practices, guides, and methods. Instrument engineers, field technicians,
and other interested parties are invited to develop standards
relating to on-line, at-line, and continuous analysis of gaseous
fuels.
At the June meeting of ASTM Committee D03 on Gaseous Fuels, numerous representatives from the natural gas
industry requested the formation of Subcommittee D03.12 to address
their on-line analytical concerns. Teresa Lechner-Fish, Daniel
Industries, Houston, Tex., will serve as subcommittee chair; Raul Dominguez, Jr., SCAQMD (South Coast Air Quality Management District), Diamond
Bar, Calif., as vice-chair; and Paul Cecil, Sievers Instruments, Boulder, Colo., as secretary.
