Wanted: Manufacturers of Analyzers and Monitors for Gaseous Fuels

ASTM Subcommittee D03.12, On-Line/At-Line Analysis of Gaseous Fuels, seeks manufacturers of on-line/at-line gas chromatograph BTU analyzers, sulfur analyzers, continuous-emission monitors, and continuous-fuel monitors to develop ASTM standards for gaseous fuels.

Two draft standards are in the early stage of development:

• Standard Practice for On-line/At-line and Continuous Analysis for Sulfur Content of Gaseous Fuels; and
• Standard Practice for On-line/At-line and Continuous Analysis for BTU Content of Gaseous Fuels.

The subcommittee, in Committee D03 on Gaseous Fuels, develops ASTM analysis standards. It works closely on issues related to sample collection from fuel lines with ASTM Subcommittee D03.01, Collection and Measurement of Gaseous Fuels.
