ASTM Committee E05: Fire Safety for More than a Century

Formed in 1904, ASTM International Committee E05 on Fire Standards covers the analysis and assessment of the fire performance of materials, products and assemblies. In addition, the committee develops test methods that measure the response of materials, products and assemblies to heat or flame under controlled conditions. ASTM E2187 is under the jurisdiction of Subcommittee E05.15 on Furnishings and Contents. Committee E05 meets June 22-25 at the June committee week in Denver, Colo.
