Inside ASTM

2007 ASTM International Paper Competition

• Health and safety
• Interoperability
• Corporate profitability
• Market entry
• Innovation
• Consumer confidence
• Cost control
• Reliability
• Risk management
• Operational efficiency
• Reputation enhancement...

These are just some of benefits of standardization.

THIS YEAR, ASTM International is seeking success stories that clearly demonstrate the benefits of standardization by initiating a paper competition. The goal of the 2007 ASTM International Paper Competition is to gather from you — the users of ASTM standards — solid examples that support the universally accepted fact that standards make our world safer, help the flow of business, and are the companions to regulation.

If you can illustrate the positive impact of an ASTM standard or group of ASTM standards in a case study, look for details on the 2007 ASTM International Paper Competition in the April 2007 issue of Standardization News.

Do you have a success story to tell?

More to come!
