Advertising Claim Substantiation Seminar

ASTM Committee E18 on Sensory Evaluation of Materials and Products is presenting a seminar on Advertising Claim Substantiation from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on April 21, 2004, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The purpose of the seminar is to educate the sensory, marketing research, and R&D communities on this increasingly important topic. Speakers will include Robert Reitter, senior vice president, Guideline Research Corporation; Jeff Edelstein, New York attorney in advertising claims research; and Robert B. Mison, corporate counsel, the Clorox Company. The speakers will also participate in a panel discussion.

The workshop is being held in conjunction with the standards development meeting for E18 standard E 1958, Guide for Sensory Claim Substantiation, which is currently being revised and updated. Attendees are welcome to attend this meeting.
