ASTM D14.60 Subcommittee on Adhesive Classification seeks adhesive suppliers and other interested parties to add their perspectives and expertise to the review of ASTM adhesive-material standards. These standards typically cover adhesives used to bond the aluminum bodies of automobiles and aircraft to their frames. Adhesives covered by these standards are widely used in the automobile, aerospace, electronic, marine, military, and industrial-assembly areas.

The subcommittee is reviewing D 4800, Standard Guide for Classifying and Specifying Adhesives, published in 1994 and updated in 1999.
