Call for Round Robin Participants

Laboratories with access to a constant temperature/humidity chamber, with 73° F (23° C) and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity, are needed for a round robin for ASTM D 6490, Standard Test Method of Water Vapor Transmission of Non-Film Forming Treatments Used on Cementitious Panels.

Testing concerns the application of treatments to cementitious panels. Panels, apparatus, and samples with instructions are available from Tom Sliva, who is coordinating the activity within a Masonry Treatments Subcommittee of ASTM Committee D01 on Paint and Related Coatings, Materials, and Applications.
