| John A. Blair, standards development manager, DuPont Company,
Wilmington, Del., and chairman of ASTM Committee F15 on Consumer Products, has received a unique Chairman's award
from Chairman Ann Brown (left) of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Blair was recognized for his exceptional contribution to saving
lives and keeping families safe through outstanding leadership,
vision, and personal effort on ASTM Committee F15. This is believed
by CPSC staff to be the first time in the Commission's history
that a CPSC chairman has presented such an award to an individual
in the private sector involved in consumer product voluntary safety
standards.
