Tests for Flexible Erosion Control Materials Presented at Workshop

On Friday, June 23, 2000, the workshop, “Performance and Testing of Flexible Erosion Control Materials,” will be held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, during the June meetings of ASTM Committee D-35 on Geosynthetics. Sponsored by Committee D-35 and the Geosynthetic Materials Association (GMA), the half-day morning workshop will feature eight to nine presentations on testing and performance of flexible erosion control materials, including turf reinforcement mats, rolled erosion control products, and other types of flexible erosion control materials. Speakers are expected to cover current research, testing methods, and performance evaluations of these materials.
