| Round Robin Participation Sought for Thermal Stability Test Method
Members of ASTM Committee D02 on Petroleum Products and Lubricants are seeking round-robin
testers for the proposed Standard Test Method for Thermal Stability
of Organic Heat Transfer Fluids.
The method has been balloted within Committee D02. Testers must
have the ability to perform ASTM D 2887, Standard Test Method for Boiling Range Distribution of Petroleum
Fractions by Gas Chromatography, with:
An open tubular column 7.5 to 10 meters in length;
A flame ionization detector;
A heating oven capable of being controlled within +/- 1 degree
C when operating at temperatures from 260 to 427 degreee C.
