Round Robin Participation Sought for Thermal Stability Test Method
Members of ASTM Committee D02 on Petroleum Products and Lubricants are seeking round-robin
testing participation for the proposed test method, Standard
Test Method for Thermal Stability of Organic Heat Transfer Fluids.
The method is currently being balloted within Committee D02. Participants
must have the ability to perform ASTM D 2887, Standard Test Method for Boiling Range Distribution of Petroleum
Fractions by Gas Chromatography, with an open tubular type column
at least five meters in length and a flame ionization type detector.
In addition, participants must have a heating oven capable of
being controlled within +/- 1 degree C when operating at temperatures
from 260 to 427 degree C.
