Balloting/Handling Negative Votes

Web-based training workshops using the Internet and your telephone are available on a limited basis - no special software is required. An ASTM Staff instructor will facilitate each session and the workshops are limited to the first 15 people who register to allow for optimum participant interaction. Participants will have any opportunity to interact with the instructor during the workshop and ask additional questions during the session.

Balloting/Handling Negative Votes will help you learn how to effectively move documents through the ASTM balloting process-from initiating a subcommittee ballot, through main committee and Society review. A review of the role of COS (Committee on Standards) is included. In addition, learn to get positive results from negative votes! A special focus is given on the procedural handling of negative votes throughout the balloting process.
