Robert Brink Memorial Award - Guidelines
ROBERT BRINK MEMORIAL AWARD
ESTABLISHMENT OF THE AWARD
This award honors Dr. Robert Brink, a founding member and a leader in methods development of ASTM Committee E47 on Biological Effects and Environmental Fate.
BASIS OF THE AWARD
The award is given for distinguished service, outstanding leadership, and or contribution to standards development in the environmental sciences.
METHOD OF SELECTION
The nominee must be a current or past member of Committee E47.
The nomination shall be solicited from the committee-at-large via a mailing. The mailing shall request nominations to be submitted in a letter to the chairperson of the nomination subcommittee.
The recipient will be selected by consensus of the nominations subcommittee, consisting of three members who each serve for a three-year term on a rotating basis; the senior member serving their final term, with the approval of the Executive Subcommittee of E47.
A maximum of one award will be given each year, provided the nominations committee has a suitable candidate.

The Robert Brink Memorial Award shall consist of a wooden plaque as such:
