Max Hecht Award
An annual award to a member of Committee D19 on Water of at least three years standing who has performed some outstanding work in the committee or in the field of water. The award was established in 1954 and is administered by an Awards Task Group consisting of three members of Committee D19.

| Limitation(s): | | The Max Hecht Award is presented not more frequently than once a year to a member of Committee D19 on Water of at least three years standing. If in the opinion of the Award Group no person is worthy of the award, none shall be given that year. |
