Subcommittee 10 on Research of ASTM Committee E05 on Fire Tests of Materials and Construction, with the assistance of the Committee on Fire Research of the National Academy of Sciences National Research Council, sponsored the symposium. A. F. Robertson, National Bureau of Standards, presided as symposium chairman.
