    Abstract

    Characterization procedures for aniso tropic composite materials are examinec critically with reference to obtaining a uniform procedure for both stiffness and ultimate property characterization. An experimental procedure employing thin-walled anisotropic cylinders for both uniaxial and multiaxial characterization is proposed.
