Abstract

(a) These methods cover the determination of sulfate ion in industrial water and industrial waste water. Three methods are given as follows: (b) The Referee method is a primary-measure of sulfate ion in all industrial water. The Non-referee methods are less time-consuming but often more liable to interference than the Referee method. They are particularly useful in the lower sulfate range, below 20ppmSO4−−.
