View License Agreement A method of approach to the study of high-temperature creep is presented in which the effects of the individual variables of temperature, stress, and the metal structure as affected by creep can be isolated and separately tested. Testing methods, results, and correlations for pure metals and dilute alloys are outlined; problems requiring further clarification are discussed; and ways of extending the techniques for application in the study of complex alloy creep and creep at lower temperatures are suggested. | ||
