View License Agreement Data in Section A cover the following basic compositions: 1. Chromium alloys with 11 to 30 per cȩnt chromium and up to 4 per cent nickel. 2. Chromium-nickel alloys with 18 to 30 per cent chromium and 8 to 22 per cent nickel. The detailed chemical compositions of these alloys appear in Table XXXV; physical properties in Table XXXVI; and mechanical properties in Table XXXVII. Because of the many different conditions to which these alloys are exposed, it is believed that comparisons as to serviceability would be misleading rather than helpful. Therefore, no such comparisons have been made, nor have any corrosion-rate data been included. | ||
