    Abstract

    This paper describes several applications in which an advanced design process Chromatographic analyzer system is employed to meet the demanding automatic control requirements in petroleum processing plants. Information pertaining to analyzer precision, speed reproducibility, reliability, versatility, and flexibility is presented. A new concept for automating plant control laboratory Chromatographic analyses is briefly described. The expanding use of the process Chromatographic analyzer is rapidly changing the function and the instrumentation requirements of the plant control laboratory.
