Data have been recorded from four different dust-counting methods: (1) light scattering from individual particles, (2) light scattering from a concentration of individual particles, (3) filtration techniques, and (4) settling techniques. Comparison data from counts taken simultaneously from the same environment with different methods are presented along with an interpretation of the variances observed. Some of the problems experienced in using the different methods are discussed. | ||
