Abstract

These methods describe a referee and a non-referee procedure for determining the specific gravity of industrial water and industrial waste water free of separable oil. The referee method is applicable to clear samples or those containing only a moderate amount of suspended solids. The non-referee method is applicable to samples of mud or sludge.
