The use of X-ray Diffraction and Scattering in Characterization of Polymer Structure

Source

X-ray diffraction studies provide useful information about the internal arrangement of polymer molecules—an important factor affecting the physical properties of plastics. Such studies also help to explain the mechanism by which this molecular arrangement affects properties. Therefore, X-ray diffraction studies are important from both a practical and a fundamental viewpoint.
