Abstract

A brief review of the SAE J726 Standard for Heavy Duty Engine Air Cleaner Testing is conducted. Some limitations of the standard test dust, AC Coarse and AC Fine are presented. Recommendations for revising the Standard to include fractional or grade efficiency are made.
