Abstract

A microprocessor controlled flat sample filtration performance tester called HV DUSTRON has been developed to be a flexible and versatile laboratory or quality control system. A five year record of performance with a standard filter medium has resulted in a coefficient of variation of 6 – 7%. Evidence is presented that the DUSTRON can distinguish one type of filtration surface from another and one type of filter medium from another.
