Eddy Current Techniques for Testing Liquid Metal Bonding

Source

A major program at the Argonne National Laboratory is concerned with the development of unmoderated power breeder reactors. Breeder reactors are particularly suited to attain optimum utilization of uranium, since they take advantage of the ability of fast neutrons to produce fission in the preponderant uranium isotope, uranium-238, and thus the possibility of breeding more fuel than is consumed.
