Abstract
Continuously clean condenser and heat exchanger tubes result in many operating economies. Several methods of tube cleaning exist, among which the continuous system utilizing a constant recirculation of sponge rubber balls has proven to be the most effective.

Improved heat transfer, reduction of chemical additions, and corrosion and scaling protection significantly reduce condenser maintenance and offer significant cost savings.
