View License Agreement Previous investigations of the microstructure and age-hardening characteristics of commercial nickel-base superalloys were concentrated on the nickel-chromium alloys hardened with aluminum and titanium. The age-hardening phases in these alloys are of the gamma prime type based on the ordered Ni3Al structure, or the eta type based on the ordered hexagonal structure Ni3Ti (I), although it has been shown that Ni3Ti can have a face-centered cubic structure under nonequilibrium conditions (2). | ||
