Abstract

The question of how to obtain a really useful level of sampling accuracy is assuming increasing importance as more business is done on the basis of quality of materials. This is particularly true in the coal business where very large tonnages are involved and where more attention is being given to such items as Btu per lb, on the as-received basis.
