A Liquid Sedimentation Method for Particle Size Distributions

Source

For the determination of particle size distributions in the range from 0.5 to 100 μ, a liquid sedimentation technique originally described by K. T. Whitby, and subsequently published by him, has been found to be a rapid and repeatable means for obtaining distributions on a wide variety of materials, such as catalysts, dusts, pigments, filter aids, salts, metal powders, clays, sandstones, etc.
