Abstract

There is currently a need for consensus performance criteria and corresponding test methods for the water transmission properties of Class PB EIFS lamina. A study was conducted to compare the results of several different test methods. Samples were fabricated using cementitious and non-cementitious Class PB EIFS with various thicknesses. Each sample was subjected to a variety of test methods. Performance is measured by the appearance of moisture on the back of the lamina, and is related to the test parameters, the cement content and the thickness of the lamina.
