Abstract

A number of methods have been developed to secure the liquid limit value for a soil based on a single observation of the relation between water content and the number of drops (blows) of the cup of the mechanical liquid limit device as specified in the Method of Test for Liquid Limit of Soils (ASTM Designation: D 423).
