Viscoelastic Parameters of Epoxy Resin from Thermomechanical and Electrical Conductivity Measurements

Source

Results of experiments on the direct-current electrical conductivity and uniaxial creep compliance of 5208 resin are described. Assuming the conductivity of the resin is inversely proportional to viscosity, time-temperature shift factors are extracted directly from a plot of conductivity versus temperature. These values agree well with corresponding values derived from isothermal creep data using a power law description for the creep compliance.
