Abstract

Three different types of narrow-boiling petroleum products were tested by ASTM Test for Boiling Range Distribution of Petroleum Fractions by Gas Chromatography (D 2887-73) and ASTM Distillation of Crude Petroleum (15 Theoretical Plate Column) (D 2892-73). The results were compared on the basis of the type of material, boiling range of material, sample size, temperature programming rate of the chromatograph, and component analysis.
