Abstract

Calorimetry and its variations for difficultly combustible materials are reviewed. Relationships between heat of combustion and compatibility in oxygen atmospheres are discussed. A compilation of heat of combustion data is given for materials used in oxygen systems, and the application of these data in selecting materials is illustrated.
