Abstract

Descriptions of modifications to the Environmental Protection Agency's Priority Pollutants Protocol are provided that enable gas chromatographic monitoring of many of these compounds at below part per billion levels. Quality assurance studies, including analytical reproducibility, purging efficiencies, extraction efficiencies, blank interferences, and differences in internal versus external standardization were conducted.
