Abstract

Texture deals with the sense of feel and consequently the term “Kinesthetic,” the muscle sense, has been used as a synonym. Another term closely related to the characteristic of texture is “tact,” that is, the sense of touch. The adjective tactile refers to something perceptible to touch and tactual something produced by the sensation of touch.
