    Abstract

    A laboratory technique for measuring the vaporization rate of a formulated pesticide from spray deposits has been developed. Surface preparation and deposit coverage on a glass substrate will exert some effect on the precision of the measurement. This method is useful in comparing the relative volatilities of a pesticide from various formulation batches and for studying the effects that additives to a formulation have on the vaporization rate of the pesticide.
