Abstract

The procedures used and the costs incurred in developing and distributing Reference Materials for use in air monitoring programs are discussed. Reference Materials currently available for use in determining the quality of ambient air measurements are described in relation to type, source, cost, and concentration. Ongoing and planned programs to develop new Reference Materials are described.
