Terminology standardization methods do not take into account all the specialized terms that are made up or derived from rejected or deprecated terms. Those illegitimate terms cause problems to the language expert wishing to use a standardized terminology. Some solutions are proposed in order to improve both terminology standards and specialized dictionaries.
