Abstract

An evaluation is made of the key features of shelf angle support and its related components with suggested alignment tolerances; shimming methods; flashing treatment to avoid corrosion, movement restricting mortar placement, and water permeance to the interior; and sealing of the joint between the flashing and masonry below.
