Abstract

Concrete masonry pavers are tested to determine physical and inherent characteristics of a variety of specimens manufactured on different equipment. Freezing and thawing, tensile splitting, compressive strength, and absorption are compared in order to assess the potential of each property as a measure of field durability and quality control.
