View License Agreement Two types of texture have been observed on cold-rolled 0.5-mm-thick Zry-4 strips. The first type (T-texture), characterized by the (0002) poles oriented towards the transverse direction, is similar to that observed on Zry-4 tubes and on pure zirconium strips. In the second type (L-texture) the (0002) poles are oriented towards the longitudinal direction. Actually observed textures consist of a mixture of these two types. The influence of cold working and annealing on texture formation and evolution is also described. On fully recrystallized strips, two types of texture have been observed. The first is the T-texture; in the second type (C-texture) the (0002) pole lies parallel to the normal direction. | ||
