STP616: Chapter 24—Economics of Quality

    Pages: 29    Published: Jan 1977

Quality control or quality assurance is primarily an economic concept. To convey the impression that a complete discussion on the economics of quality has been or can be crammed into this single chapter would be misleading. Each of the preceding chapters deals in part, sometimes in large part, with the economics of quality, and the index provides a detailed reference to the discussions throughout this book on the subject of the economics of quality.
